Apologies for no updates over the wkend. Internet was down and Phone would not allow me to upload.

R.I.P DJ-AM ( Friday News) The man was Great in his craft and he will be missed. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few different times (Vegas, ATL and Dallas) and he was madd cool and very chill.. Not hype or too Big of himself.. Pretty humble. The DJ World has lost a GREAT one. 2009 is goin down as the Year we have lost some amazing people.. not celebs but PEOPLE.

Friday and Sat I chilled at home with the pup..Barack.. It was Fam time. LOL

Sunday a New Addition to the Crew was brought home.. ROCKY HAMPTON!! Devin Hampton's new pup was welcomed into the Hampton/Nelson Home. Kim and Devin are the Proud parents of an English Bulldog...He is 7wks and 5lbs already. Just adorable!!!

Sunday nite was another great nite at Sundae @ Piazza.. Friends gettin together to hang out, eat, drink and talk. Always a good time.. the babies were out last nite which is always a Blessing.. Always good to see the Future generations!! LOL

I will be making some announcements for Future Team leaders on my blog.. I really want this to be a FUN yet informative blog...touch on all topics of things you want to hear.. I want you to laugh and also get information on things goin on in your city!!

The YEEZY's...The Thorn in my side, the bane of my exsistance. LOL..No not really but if you know me i love a good challenge and this one has def got me on the look. Now Kanye def out did himself when he made these kicks... He had his hand in everything to do with this shoe from the tongue to the glow in the dark sole. Which I personally think is fly. But what I dont think is fly is how the price is so jacked up that the average joe or jill cant afford these..$600..dude thats my car note... Come on Kanye.. lets get real.. adleast make some for Foot Locker!! We want the Yeezy's too!! I mean, this is a reccession after all. Hook up the Average joe/jill... we wanna look flyy! adleast I do. Hahahaha

Wed Nite "what haps"

Welll..What had happen was....yeah some of u already know what happen!
The night started out so innocent..Angela and I went to Walnut Room and whooped it up with MC Elixir for his Bday and it was FUN! Then walked down to VANGO..and all Hell broke loose...LOL Drinks were flowing, Cake was too! HAHAHA...We got our dance on and it was great...

So we closed it down with someone (a dude) breaking the stripper pole.. Oh yeah a STRIPPER POLE in the middle of the floor.. And on that note..its time to go. LOL

Walk outside and guess who we run into...Lawrence, and he is still goin strong! One was the next stop..i dont wanna go...lol "No ang, No Lawrence, No Jahmall...OK..Im going...hahaha

One is the old Mansion...There was a guy with a Llama/Camel Polo shirt on.. Wiggty wiggty wack...LOL..There was a Martin and Susan Sighting.. Yippeee.. Made the nite that much better.

Then we headed to Lil Pete's where Lawrence got in trouble for stayin out too late.. Should have asked the wifeys permission!!! Next time Tamia...sorry!!

All in all it was a GREAT nite.. I got in at 5am and was at work by 1030....

So Im at Starbucks @ 20th and Market st with Charon and Mike J. and can we talk about the "characters" that keep walkin past this window!!!!

OMG.. Before they showed up a homeless man kept "karate choppin" the air around him.. I tried not to stare for fear he might karate chop this plate glass window or something.. LOL ( not funny laughin at him cuz he has mental issues but funny at the image) and as we have been sittin here a guy walked up and just stared at Charon's head while Mike and i just stared back at him... LOL
We like WTH??

I saw a nanny grip up a kid by the neck... Smdh.. Glad she did it outside the home cause u know they have a nanny cam in the house..HAHAHA...And she knew it too.

oh well..

Wed Nite in Philly!

Ok..So lets talk about what the Haps in Philly tonite....

Center City District Sips 2009- Its the Last wed for CC Sips people... Make your way to various resturants, bars and Pubs in Philly and get your sip on between 5-7pm tonite. Philly hosts the CC Sips Yearly from July 1st to end of Aug. Always a great time to hang with friends and have a discounted drink after work and unwind. Again, TONITE is the last Wed for CC Sips.. Enjoy it while you can!!

My First Day Blogging

Ok Ok.. I have been told many times to do this so we are gonna see how it goes.. So just bare with a sista while I "get familiar" and address the public of my daily "What Haps" and The "Day in the Life of Sheshelaghost aka Sheila".

Im currently sittin in StarBucks @ 20th & Market.. Working on my Portfolio and starting this blog and everything is calm.. I must admit im a tad nervous startin this cuz i dont want it to be crap or want my ppls to clown me... Hahaha

This blog will be a combo of many things so prepare yourself.. if your my friend then you know Im into everything so i will be touching on all types of topics. From Septa to Style to Travel to Politics. So there will be something for everyone to comment on. These will be MY personal views, not here to offend anyone or start a war. Just me being me and observing what goes on around me in my life, here in Philadelphia aka The Illadel!
